A meeting of the headquarters for the coordination of activities to extinguish forest fires was held in the Department of Forestry in the Volga Federal District
Today in the Department of Forestry in the Volga Federal District, a meeting of the headquarters was held in the mode of videoconference to coordinate activities to extinguish forest fires in the Volga Federal District. The meeting was chaired by the head of the department, Alexander Ornatsky.
The event was attended by representatives of forestry management bodies of the Volga Federal District, incl. from the Republic of Tatarstan - First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, acting Vasily Chernov, Head of the Department of the State Forest Register, Forest Use and Forest Inventory of the Ministry.
During the meeting, Alexander Ornatsky dwelled on the issues of the fire hazardous season in forests in the regions of the Volga Federal District, the implementation of a set of measures for the fire-prevention arrangement of forests, the procurement of forest fire-fighting equipment and fire-fighting equipment within the framework of the federal project “Preservation of forests” of the national project “Ecology”.
They also discussed the issues of digitalization of the forestry complex, the provision by public authorities of state services for the receipt of forest declarations and reports on the use of forests in electronic form.
