Specialists of the Center for Forest Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan check the quality of planting material in forest nurseries

Specialists of the branch of FBU “Roslesozashchita” “Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan” carry out work to assess the characteristics of planting material in the framework of state monitoring of forest reproduction.

To date, 20 batches of planting material have been examined in the forest nurseries of the Arsky, Aksubaevsky and Zelenodolsky forestry enterprises of the republic. During the survey, the height and diameter of the seedlings were determined, the degree of weed infestation, the presence of signs of diseases, damage by pests, etc.

According to experts, the state of the planting material is assessed as good.
