Forester of Prigorodny forestry Vitaly Shmelev took part in a seminar on the formation of cartographic literacy
A seminar on the formation of cartographic literacy was held at the MBOU “Nikolsky secondary school” of Laishevsky district. Vitaly Shmelev, foreman of the forest of the Stolbischensky district forestry of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Prigorodny forestry”, took part in its work.
During the seminar, the issues of the formation of cartographic knowledge among students and practical skills of working with maps were discussed. Also, within the framework of the seminar, an extracurricular event “Earth Day” was organized.
Foreman of the forest Vitaly Shmelev also made a presentation. He spoke about the forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the quarter network and quarter pillars. Vitaly Shmelev also elaborated on the rules of fire and sanitary safety in forests and the measures of responsibility for their violation.
