Employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the republican subbotnik
A republican subbotnik took place today in the Republic of Tatarstan. Traditional activities to clean up the territories were held within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and the republican action “Ekovesna – 2021”.
In Kazan, the central area for the subbotnik was the park on Noksinsky Spusk Street. The event was launched by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
“After winter, it is necessary to put all areas in order. I sincerely thank everyone who came out for the Saturday clean-up, - said Rustam Minnikhanov. - Of course, we shouldn't just clean up today. Our priority is systematic work in this direction. In general, we must change our attitude towards the environment, since the quality of our life depends on it.”
After the opening, the President of Tatarstan, together with other invited guests, took part in planting trees - 60 trees were planted this year. Scots pine seedlings. Ak Bars hockey players Dmitry Kvartalnov, Alexander Burmistrov, Kirill Petrov and Artem Galimov joined the action.
As part of the cleanup, the first game of the season was organized in the format of the “Clean Games” quest, and the results of the #ekovesna2021 Instagram contest were summed up. Here one could take part in interactive activities, ecological master classes (holding ecological holidays, separate waste collection, educational projects).
It is worth noting that also today in the municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan the central events of the republican environmental action “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” were held. Specialists of the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out work to clean up the territory of the republic's forest fund from solid municipal waste, dead wood and dead wood, repair and equip sold-out houses, information boards and resting places in the forest.
