The Ministry at a meeting via videoconference discussed the tasks for the upcoming period
Today, the Ministry hosted a videoconference meeting to discuss the tasks for the upcoming period. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. The event was attended by the heads of forestry and forestry directors of the republic.
Deputy Ministers of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov and Rais Gumerov made reports at the meeting.
Ilgizar Zaripov spoke about the progress of the fire-hazardous season in the forests and the forest cultivation work carried out.
“According to the information system of remote monitoring of the Federal Forestry Agency, this year, as of April 26, 472 thermal points were registered in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, - said Ilgizar Zaripov. - This is 168 points more compared to the same period last year. It is necessary to strengthen control over ensuring fire safety in forests, especially in the upcoming May holidays.”
According to him, within the framework of the forest cultivation season of 2021, employees of the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - forestry enterprises - carried out reforestation and afforestation on an area of 593 hectares (39% of the plan). The planting of forest cultures was completed by specialists of the Leninogorsky, Nurlatsky, Sabinsky and Cheremshansky forestry enterprises of the republic.
“Let me remind you that in total this year in the Republic of Tatarstan reforestation works will be carried out on an area of 3855 hectares. Along with this, protective forest plantations will be laid on agricultural land on an area of 1748 hectares, within the boundaries of the Aznakayevsky municipal district - on 1650 hectares, - said the first deputy minister. - Artificial reforestation should be completed no later than May 15th.”
Rais Gumerov dwelled on the issues of production of marketable products, performance of work and provision of services, supply of timber to enterprises of the republic, efficient operation of equipment, payment of wages, labor protection and safety measures.
“When carrying out all silvicultural, forestry and logging work, one should not forget about labor protection and safety measures. People have always been and remain our main wealth. It is thanks to them that the development of the industry is ensured,” emphasized Rais Gumerov.
The results of the meeting were summed up by the head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. He gave the heads of subordinate institutions a number of instructions related to the implementation of a set of measures for the fire-prevention arrangement of forests, work within the framework of the forest cultivation season and the republican nature conservation action “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”.
“We must ensure the high-quality implementation of reforestation work in a timely manner, since the achievement of the indicator of the federal project “Preservation of forests” of the national project “Ecology” depends on it, - Ravil Kuzyurov said addressing the meeting participants. - May will certainly become one of the most fire hazardous months of the year. Given the high recreational load on the forest, it is necessary to strengthen control over the observance of fire safety rules in forests by citizens, institutions, organizations, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities.”
