In the Republic of Tatarstan, work continues on the laying and renovation of mineralized fire strips. According to specialists from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of April 27 of this year. 1485.6 km of new lanes were created (62% of the plan) and maintenance of existing barriers with a total length of 2825.6 km (59%) was carried out. The work was completed by employees of Aznakaevsky, Alkeyevsky, Bavlinsky, Bolgarsky, Zainsky, Zelenodolsky, Kaibitsky, Kaleykinsky, Kyzyl-Yulduzsky and Cheremshansky forestry enterprises of the republic.
In addition, at present, forestry specialists are improving recreation areas for citizens staying in the forests, as well as installing information stands, notices and fire-fighting shields.
Recall that this year the fire season in the forests in the Republic of Tatarstan started on April 15, a special fire regime - on April 26.
