Today the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov made a report on the work carried out within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and the republican environmental action “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference meeting with all municipal districts. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin took part in it.
The head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov said that since the beginning of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, specialists of the Ministry's subordinate institutions have identified 62 places of unauthorized waste disposal and drawn up 27 protocols on administrative offenses under Art. 8.31 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for violation of sanitary safety rules in forests. More than 125 cubic meters of solid household waste was collected and removed from the forest fund of the republic.
“On April 19, the spring stage of the republican environmental action “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” started, - the minister noted. - Last Saturday, the central events of the action were organized in the territories of the forestries. They were joined by about 2 thousand people.”
As a result of the action, over 900 cubic meters of solid waste, dead wood and dead wood were removed from the forest fund. Along with this, the forestry workers improved 22 springs, repaired 187 notices, information boards and recreation areas for citizens staying in the forests.
Also, Ravil Kuzyurov briefly dwelled on the forest cultivation work performed and the course of the fire hazardous season in the forests of 2021. He said that this year in the republic on the regional project “Preservation of Forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” will be carried out reforestation work on an area of 3855 hectares. In addition, protective forest plantations will be established on agricultural land on an area of 1748 hectares, within the boundaries of the Aznakayevsky municipal district - on 1650 hectares.
“Thus, in total, in 2021, work on reforestation and afforestation will be carried out in Tatarstan on an area of 7253 hectares, - he said. - To date, reforestation activities have been carried out on 5180 hectares, which is 71% of the plan.”
On April 15 this year, another fire hazardous season in the forests opened in the republic. In order to detect and extinguish forest fires in the Republic of Tatarstan, there are 20 type II forest fire stations and 5 type III forest fire stations. Space, aviation and ground monitoring of the fire hazardous situation in the forests is being carried out, a set of measures is being taken for the fire-prevention arrangement of forests.
According to the remote monitoring information system of the Federal Forestry Agency, this year, as of May 1, 335 thermal points were registered on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. “Compared to the same period last year, the number of recorded fires on the lands adjacent to the forest fund has doubled, - Ravil Kuzyurov emphasized. - I ask the heads of municipal districts to aid and take measures to prevent burning of dry grass and crop residues on agricultural land and other categories.”
“On May 8, the Republic of Tatarstan will host the International Action “Garden of Memory”. It is planned to plant 350 thousand seedlings in memory of the great feat of 350 thousand Tatarstan people who did not return home from the front, to their relatives and friends. Taking this opportunity, I invite everyone to join the action,” the minister concluded.
