Today, workers of the republic's timber industry congratulated the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers on the upcoming holiday - Victory Day. The specialists visited the veterans and presented them with gifts.
The Great Patriotic War (June 22, 1941 - May 9, 1945) became the bloodiest war in the history of the Russian state. It claimed millions of lives of Soviet citizens, both military and civilians, and left an indelible mark on the soul of every person.
This year the Russian Federation will celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. On the eve of the holiday, various thematic events are held, to which every resident of our country can join. Among them - the International action “Garden of Memory”, the All-Russian charity action “Red Carnation”, the online procession “Immortal Regiment” and the All-Russian action “Windows of Victory”.
