A high class of fire hazard in forests is expected in the Republic of Tatarstan until May 17
According to the Federal State Budgetary Institution UGMS of the Republic of Tatarstan, until May 17, 2021, a high class of fire hazards in forests is expected in the Republic of Tatarstan. The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds us that in 90% of cases the main cause of forest fires is a violation of fire safety rules and careless handling of fire.
Fire safety in the forest is provided by 20 types II forest fire stations and 5 types III forest fire stations. Space monitoring of the fire hazard situation, aviation (1.2 million hectares), and ground (11 thousand hectares) are being carried out. Also, the regional dispatching service of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” (tel. 8-800-100-94-00, 8 (843) 221-37-95) works around the clock.
