In Tatarstan, a set of measures for the fire-prevention arrangement of forests is being carried out

In the Republic of Tatarstan, work is being completed on the laying and renovation of mineralized fire strips. According to specialists from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of May 11 of this year. 2385.2 km of new lanes were created and the existing barriers with a total length of 4767.9 km were maintained.

In addition, at present, forestry specialists are improving recreation areas for citizens staying in the forests, as well as installing information stands, notices, and fire-fighting shields.

Recall that this year the fire season in the forests of the Republic of Tatarstan started on April 15, a special fire regime – on April 26.
