The spring forestry season is over in the Republic of Tatarstan
In the Republic of Tatarstan, the spring forest cultivation season of 2021 is completed. Within its framework, employees of the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - forestry enterprises - carried out reforestation work on an area of 1400.1 hectares, including planting forest cultures - on 1295.5 hectares, afforestation - on 104.6 hectares.
Let us remind that in total this year in the republic on the regional project “Preservation of forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” of the national project “Ecology” reforestation works will be carried out on an area of 3855 hectares. Also, during the year, it is planned to procure at least 11.4 tons of seeds of the main forest-forming species and grow more than 30.9 million pieces of standard planting material.
Along with this, other activities were carried out in Tatarstan within the framework of the forest cultivation season. Thus, work on the establishment of protective forest plantations on agricultural lands was carried out on an area of 1748 hectares, within the boundaries of the Aznakayevsky municipal district - on 1285 hectares, supplementing forest crops - on 2130 hectares, sowing seeds in forest nurseries - on 21.1 hectares.
In the summer and autumn periods, work will be carried out in the republic on natural and combined reforestation, agrotechnical care of forest crops, harvesting seeds of forest plants, supplementing forest crops, and preparing the soil for crops in 2022.
