Today, the Ministry hosted a videoconference meeting to discuss the tasks for the upcoming period. It was conducted by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov, Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry Elmira Shagaeva, head foresters, directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov delivered a keynote speech. During his speech, he dwelled on the issues of the passage of the 2021 fire season.
“According to forecast data, until May 24, abnormally hot weather will remain in the Republic of Tatarstan, and, accordingly, a high class of fire hazard in forests, - said Ilgizar Zaripov. - According to the information system of remote monitoring of the Federal Forestry Agency, to date, 699 thermal points are registered on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. This is 306 points more compared to the same period last year. Therefore, it is necessary to significantly strengthen control over ensuring fire safety in forests.”
The First Deputy Minister outlined many tasks related to patrolling the lands of the forest fund, increasing the number of patrol groups, conducting firefighting measures, campaigning and prophylactic work among the population, etc.
At the end of the meeting, Ilgizar Zaripov informed about the upcoming admission campaign at the Lubyanka Forestry College and recalled the need to comply with preventive measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19.
