Issues of digital transformation of the forestry complex were discussed in Nizhny Novgorod
Today in Nizhny Novgorod a videoconference meeting was held on the topic “3-FZ and digital transformation of the forestry complex in the Russian Federation. Modernized LesEGAIS and FSIS LC”. The meeting was chaired by the head of the Federal Forestry Agency Ivan Sovetnikov. It was attended by the Head of the Forestry Department for the Volga Federal District Alexander Ornatsky, Assistant to the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Yekaterina Karutina, heads of regional forestry management bodies of the Volga Federal District, incl. from the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, representatives of industry institutions, scientific and expert community.
The main reports at the meeting were made by the Head of the Forestry Department for the Volga Federal District Alexander Ornatsky and the chief analyst of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Roslesinforg”, the head of the Rosleskhoz project group for the implementation of the provisions of Federal Law No. 415-FZ of December 28, 2013, Alexander Mariev.
Alexander Ornatsky dwelled on the readiness of the regions of the Volga Federal District to receive forest declarations and reports on the use of forests in the form of electronic documents, and Alexander Mariev - on the implementation of the Federal Law of February 4, 2021, No. 3-FZ and the creation of a unified federal state information system of the forestry complex ( FSIS LC).
Further, a discussion and exchange of views took place on the digital transformation of the forestry complex of the Russian Federation, the possibilities of increasing the efficiency of forestry management, etc.
