In Tatarstan, work has begun on the care of young trees
In the Republic of Tatarstan, work has begun on the care of young trees. Specialists of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bilyarsky forestry” were among the first to start the work.
“Such forestry activities as clarification and cleaning are being carried out, - said the acting director Vasily Chernov, Head of the Department of the State Forest Register, Forest Use and Forest Inventory of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. - Their goal is to regulate the density of forest stands, to improve the species and quality composition of young stands and the growth conditions for trees of the main species.”
According to him, in total in 2021 in the Republic of Tatarstan, work will be carried out to care for young trees on an area of 3 thousand hectares.
