In Tatarstan, on the last calls, the International Action “Garden of Memory”
Graduates of schools of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the International Action “Garden of Memory”, which took place on the last calls last Saturday, May 22. In the city of Zelenodolsk, one of the events took place on the territory of the MBOU “Lyceum No. 9 named after A.S. Pushkin”.
During the action, the students planted 30 chestnut and white deer seedlings, as well as daylilies and marigolds on the territory of the lyceum near the memorial plaque to Marshal of the Soviet Union G.K. Zhukov.
Recall that the International Action “Garden of Memory”, dedicated to the 76th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, started in the Republic of Tatarstan on April 20, 2021. As of May 24, of this year, 1 million seedlings were planted in memory of the great feat of 350 thousand Tatarstan people who did not return home from the front to their relatives and friends.
