The Rosleskhoz discussed the implementation of the federal project “Preservation of forests”

Today, the Federal Forestry Agency held a meeting on the implementation of the federal project “Preservation of forests” in 2021. It was chaired by Alexander Panfilov, deputy head of Rosleskhoz.

The event, which was held in videoconference mode, was attended by representatives of the Forestry Department for the Volga Federal District and forestry management bodies of the Volga Federal District, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rais Gumerov, heads of structural divisions of the Ministry.

During the meeting, issues of achieving the target indicators of the federal project “Preservation of forests” of the national project “Ecology” in 2021, procurement of forest fire, and forestry equipment were discussed.

In particular, Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov made a short report. He said that according to the project, this year in the Republic of Tatarstan, work will be carried out on the reproduction of forests on an area of 3855 hectares. To date, planting of forest crops has been carried out on an area of 1295.5 hectares, afforestation - on 104.6 hectares.

“The implementation of the federal project “Preservation of Forests” significantly helps to renew the equipment park of the subordinate institutions of the Ministry, to increase the efficiency of forest protection from fires and reforestation works, - said Rais Gumerov. - There are no risks of late disbursement of funds.”

According to him, in 2021, 26 units of equipment were purchased and transferred to forestry enterprises (8 units of fire-fighting tankers AC-3.0-40 (GAZ-33086), 13 units of small forest patrol complexes based on UAZ-390945, 5 units of universal forest fire complexes ULPK-4P), and 58 units of fire-fighting equipment (high-pressure fire-fighting installations, blowers, portable motor pumps, meteorological stations, etc.).
