On the territory of the forest fund of the Lubyanka forestry, forest inventory work is being carried out. “Currently, we are working in quarters 24, 41, and 42 of the Lubyanka forestry, 4 people are involved, - said Rinat Fedulov, the leading engineer of the Kazan branch of the FSBI “Roslesinforg”, the head of the forest inventory expedition. - In the course of forest inventory, an assessment of the state of forest stands will be carried out, and a set of measures for the protection and reproduction of forests will be developed.”
According to him, in total, forest management works are to be carried out on an area of 13 thousand hectares.
Let us recall that forest management is a specialized type of forestry activity that ensures the development of a system of state measures aimed at rational use, increasing productivity, reproduction and protection of forests and improving the culture of forestry. To keep the forest inventory materials up to date, it should be carried out at least once every 10 years.
