In the Cheremshansky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, a set of measures is being carried out for the fire-prevention arrangement of forests. Within its framework, on the territory of the forest fund of the Cheremshansky forestry, 29.5 km of new fire-prevention mineralized belts were created and the existing barriers with a total length of 113 km were maintained.
“Also, specialists from the Cheremshansky forestry enterprise carry out work on the construction and reconstruction of fire-prevention roads, improvement of recreation areas for citizens staying in the forests. For example, this year 10 pavilions were repaired in Kazankinsky, Svetlogorsky and Sheshminsky uchastkovoye lesnichestvos, - said Almaz Mutygullin, head-forester of GKU RT “Cheremshansky forestry”. - Along with this, we have strengthened patrolling of forest lands and control over compliance with fire safety requirements in forests.”
