Work on agrotechnical care of forest crops started in Tatarstan

In the Republic of Tatarstan, work has begun on the agrotechnical care of forest crops. Employees of Aksubaevsky, Arsky, Yelabuzhsky, and Prigorodny forestry enterprises were among the first to start the activities.

In total, this year, work on agrotechnical care of forest crops will be carried out on an area of 14.3 thousand hectares. The largest amount of work is planned on the territory of the forest fund of Menzelinsky (996 hectares), Kamsky (900 hectares), and Kyzyl-Yulduzsky (907 hectares) forestries.

Recall that work on agrotechnical care for forest crops is a set of techniques aimed at improving conditions for the survival and growth of cultivated trees and shrubs by loosening the soil, destroying weeds, planting plants, etc. The frequency of care is determined taking into account local conditions.
