Tatarstan strengthened control over ensuring fire safety in forests
In the Republic of Tatarstan, control over ensuring fire safety in forests has been strengthened.
“According to the information system of remote monitoring of the Federal Forestry Agency, today 741 thermal points are registered in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. This is 325 points more compared to the same period last year, - said the head of the department of state control and supervision of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Akhmerov. - Therefore, at present, patrolling of forest lands is intensified in the republic. Also, a set of measures is being carried out on fire-prevention arrangement of forests and campaigning and preventive work among the population.”
According to Ayrat Akhmerov, since the beginning of the year, 1.3 thousand warnings have been issued in Tatarstan about the inadmissibility of violating fire safety requirements in forests, and 20 resolutions have been issued for their violation totaling 172.5 thousand rubles.
