A high class of fire hazard in forests is expected in the Republic of Tatarstan until June 15
According to the Federal State Budgetary Institution “UGMS of the Republic of Tatarstan”, in the period from 8 to 15 June 2021 in the Republic of Tatarstan, there will be a high fire hazard of forests (IV class), in the extreme east - an extreme fire hazard of forests (V class). The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds us that in 90% of cases the main cause of forest fires is a violation of fire safety rules and careless handling of fire.
To ensure timely detection, extinguishing, and prevention of forest fires on the territory of the forest fund in the Republic of Tatarstan, there are 20 types II forest fire stations at forestry enterprises and 5 types III forest fire stations at the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”. Type II LPS are equipped with 229 units of various equipment, Type III LPS - 72 units of specialized equipment.
Space monitoring of the fire hazard situation, aviation (1.2 million hectares), and ground (11 thousand hectares) are being carried out. Also, the regional dispatching service of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” (tel. 8-800-100-94-00, 8 (843) 221-37-95) works around the clock.
