The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan will strengthen control over ensuring fire safety in forests on holidays and weekends. “Tomorrow, on June 12, the 4th class of fire hazard in forests is expected in 20 municipal districts. The heads of the subordinate institutions of the Ministry were instructed to continue intensive patrolling of the territory of the forest fund of the republic, - said the head of the department of state control and supervision Airat Akhmerov. - Particular attention will be paid to popular outdoor recreation areas. Explanatory work among the population will also continue.”
Recall that to ensure the timely detection, extinguishing, and prevention of forest fires on the territory of the forest fund in the Republic of Tatarstan, there are 20 types II forest fire stations at forestry enterprises and 5 types III forest fire stations at the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”. The number of forest fire units is 718 people, equipment - 362 units of various equipment. In the event of an emergency, the forces and means of legal entities can be involved in the fight against forest fires - these are 2,485 people and 643 units of equipment and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan - 731 people and 218 units of equipment.
