Call for applications for the “Green Project of the Year – 2021” award is nearing completion
The call for applications for the FSC Russia “Green Project of the Year – 2021” award is nearing completion. You can apply until June 30 of the current year.
This competition accepts projects that have made a positive practical contribution to reducing the negative impact of humans on nature, preserving forest resources in Russia, and developing responsible forest management, which has had a positive impact on the economy, human well-being, improving working conditions for workers, increasing the environmental awareness of Russians about ways of caring for forests.
Partnership projects with NGOs, scientific and educational organizations for the conservation, restoration, and rational use of forests, charitable and volunteer projects in the forest sector can also become nominees for the award.
Recall that, starting in 2020, the Green Project of the Year award has united 88 projects from 61 organizations from 28 regions of Russia. Among the participants last year were representatives of government bodies, public organizations, research institutes, small and large Russian and international companies.
