First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov spoke about the current forest fire situation on Radio Tatarstan
Today, the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov has become a guest of the “New Day” program of the radio STRC “Tatarstan”. There he spoke about the current forest fire situation in the Republic of Tatarstan and the ongoing work to protect forests from fires.
“This year, the republic has a rather difficult forest fire situation. Abnormal heat, the air warms up to 35 degrees, IV and V classes of fire hazard in the forests are recorded, - said Ilgizar Zaripov. - So, according to the Information System for Remote Monitoring of the Federal Forestry Agency, to date, 812 thermal points have been recorded. This is 340 points more compared to the same period last year.”
“In this regard, the Ministry initiated the signing of two resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan on the introduction of restrictions on the stay of citizens in forests and the entry of vehicles into them. The first was in effect from May 14 to June 3 inclusive, the first deputy minister added. - The second decree came into force on June 16 and will be valid until July 6 inclusive. During the period of this regime, the stay of citizens in the forests, the entry of vehicles into them, and the performance of certain types of work in the forests are limited.”
According to the decree, forestry specialists carried out work on the installation of warning notices about the introduction of the restriction, the period of its validity, and the blocking of forest roads with barriers. Also, the around-the-clock watch was organized in subordinate institutions, patrolling in forests was strengthened, temporary posts were organized in places of mass visits to forests on weekends. In general, the full readiness of fire extinguishing forces and means, including reserve ones, for prompt response to messages on fires and forest fires is ensured.
According to the First Deputy Minister, to ensure timely detection, extinguishing, and prevention of forest fires in the Republic of Tatarstan, there are 20 types II forest fire stations and 5 types III forest fire stations. The number of forest fire units is 718 people, equipment - 362 units of various equipment. In the event of an emergency, the forces and funds of legal entities can be involved in the fight against forest fires - these are 2485 people and 643 units. equipment and the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan - 731 people and 218 units of equipment.
