From July 1, 2021, the procedure for pre-trial appeal of decisions of federal-state control bodies will be available
On July 1, 2021, Federal Law No. 248-FZ of July 31, 2020 “On State Control (Supervision) and Municipal Control in the Russian Federation” will come into force. This law establishes the possibility of a pre-trial appeal procedure against decisions of federal bodies of state control (supervision). The approved list includes 19 departments, including the Federal Tax Service, Rostekhnadzor, Rosturizm, Rospotrebnadzor, Roszdravnadzor, etc. Thus, the pre-trial appeal procedure will be available for 62 types of state control.
It will be possible to apply to pre-trial appeal through the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services. The system is currently in pilot mode.
The launch of the pre-trial appeal system is aimed at improving the interaction of citizens, businesses, and government bodies, reducing time and financial costs, as well as reducing the burden on the courts.
