Today, the Ministry hosted a meeting of the anti-corruption commission.
The meeting was opened and the rules of procedure were announced by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov.
Head of the department of state control and supervision of the Ministry Ayrat Akhmerov and head of the sector for civil service and personnel Elvira Ziyatdinova made reports at the event.
Airat Akhmerov spoke about the work being done to prevent corruption offenses in the implementation of the federal state forest supervision (forest protection). He dwelled on the conditions for initiating cases of administrative offenses, the implementation of a program for the prevention of violations of mandatory requirements when the Ministry exercises powers for federal state forest supervision, the work of the Interdepartmental Commission on the prevention and suppression of illegal logging, transportation, processing, sale and export of timber in the Republic of Tatarstan, Federal Law of July 31, 2020, No. 248-FZ “On State Control (Supervision) and Municipal Control in the Russian Federation”, etc.
“In 2020, no complaints from citizens about the actions of state forest inspectors were received by the Ministry, - added Ayrat Akhmerov. - This work will continue in the future. In particular, this year seminars will be organized, where innovations in legislation, peculiarities of control and supervision activities will be explained.”
Elvira Ziyatdinova acquainted the meeting participants with the materials prepared by the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on anti-corruption policy on the state of corruption and the implementation of measures to combat it in 2020, as well as on the results of the analysis presented for the 1st quarter of this year by the state authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan and local authorities of information on the implementation of anti-corruption measures.
