Specialists of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan “Agryzsky forestry” conduct raids to prevent forest fires. “Within the framework of the fire danger season in forests, one of the directions of our activity is carrying out raids and patrols in forest areas. They aim to prevent the occurrence of natural fires and grass fires, and to identify violations of forest laws, - says the forest manager Vladimir Ishmuratov. - According to the statistics, 9 out of 10 forest fires occur because of the person. During the patrols, we explain to citizens the rules of fire safety in the forests, measures of responsibility for their violation, as well as features of the imposed restrictions on citizens' stay in the forests and entry of vehicles into them.”
“In general, as of today the state forest inspectors of Agryzsky forestry conducted 470 patrols of forest lands, handed out 400 pieces of leaflets on fire prevention, and held 65 talks with the population”, added Vladimir Ishmuratov.
