In the Republic of Tatarstan, a complex of measures on fire-prevention arrangement of forests is performed. Within its frameworks on July 5 of the current year are executed works on construction of roads of fire-prevention purpose with a total length of 51 kilometers and their reconstruction - 166 kilometers.
Also have been established more than 48 pieces of stands, signs, and indexes, containing information about fire safety measures in forests, and accomplishment of 70 places of rest of citizens staying in forests.
Let's remind that earlier works on the laying and renewal of the mineralized firebreaks were finished in the Republic. It was created 2395,2 km of new strips and conducted maintenance of existing barriers with a total length of 4806.9 km.
