Russia continues to accept applications from volunteers for the #WeAreTogether prize

In Russia, the acceptance of applications for the #WeAreTogether international award has been extended. Those interested can apply for participation in the event on the website of the award - https://премия.мывместе.рф/ until July 25 of the current year.

Applications can be submitted on four tracks: "Volunteers and NGOs", "Business", "Media" and "We are together" (for foreign citizens). In particular, volunteers over 14 years old and socially oriented non-profit organizations can participate in the Volunteers and NGOs track. You can apply for this in two of the eight nominations: "Helping People", "Health of the Nation", "Country of Opportunities", "Cultural Heritage", "Comfortable City", "Green Country", "Technologies for Life" and "Heroes Among Us". The 72 participants who become winners will win grants for the development of projects of up to 2.5 million rubles.

Commercial organizations with programs on corporate social responsibility, sustainable development, and corporate volunteering can participate in the Business track. Its winners will be eight small and medium-sized companies and eight federal ones. At the same time, they will receive not only the prestigious status of "Partner of National Priorities", but will also become participants in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2022.

The Media track includes three nominations: Media Volunteering, Local Media, and Storytelling. In addition, according to the decision of the jury, the award "Special Jury Nomination" will be awarded - it will be awarded to major projects on television and in other media, as well as the blogosphere. Applications can be submitted in two nominations at once, 15 people will become winners.

The track "We are together" is intended for foreigners. Those who have contributed to international cooperation and the solution of global problems in their countries can join it. In 2021, the theme of the track is the fight against coronavirus. Applications for participation are accepted on a separate website - https://wearetogetherprize.com/ru. The 20 participants who have become winners will receive the support of specialists from international organizations.

One more nomination - "Person of the Year" awaits prize-winners from among Russians. By secret ballot, the judges will select the participant with the most outstanding contribution. Prizewinners from 14 to 17 years old will win grants of up to 600 thousand rubles for the implementation of projects, participants over 18 years old, and NGOs - up to 2.5 million rubles. In addition, the winners will have the opportunity to take part in a special educational program of the management workshop "Senezh", promotion on the leading sites of Runet, participation in the accelerator from ANO "Institute for Internet Development" and support from more than 20 partners of the award.

At the same time, the winners of the tracks "Volunteers and Non-Profit Organizations" and "Business" will be able to claim one of the prestigious state awards - the badge of distinction "For Benevolence". From August to October, the semi-finals of the award will be held in the federal districts. The projects and works of the finalists will be evaluated by the Russians in a popular vote and by the jury from October 15 to November 5.

The award is held on behalf of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin within the framework of the federal project "Social Activity" of the national project "Education". Its goal is to support initiatives to help people and improve their quality of life. It was launched on May 18 as a continuation of the all-Russian mutual aid campaign #WeAreTogether, which started in March 2020. The winners will be announced on December 5 at the international forum #WeAreTogether, traditionally presented by the head of state.
