In Tatarstan, explanatory work is underway among the population on compliance with fire safety requirements in forests
In connection with the established high class of fire hazards in forests and within the framework of the information campaign "Stop the fire" in the Republic of Tatarstan, explanatory work is being carried out among the population on the observance of fire safety requirements in forests.
According to statistics, more than 90% of forest fires are caused by humans. Therefore, an important direction in the work to prevent fires is preventive talks and forest fire propaganda.
Forestry specialists of the Republic of Tatarstan continue to distribute information leaflets and memos. They contain information on the regime of restricting citizens' stay in forests, fire safety rules in forests, measures of responsibility for their violation, as well as the procedure for action in case of an emergency. Leaflets and leaflets are distributed in the settlements of the republic, hung on notice boards, bus stops.
According to the regional dispatching service of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Forest Fire Center", to date, 8.7 thousand pieces of leaflets and memos have been distributed.
