A meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today the Ministry hosted a meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, Deputy Ministers Ilgizar Zaripov, Rais Gumerov, Chief Executive Officer Elmira Shagaeva, heads and specialists of the structural divisions of the Ministry.
Ilgiz Zaripov, Director of the Forestry Museum of the Ministry, spoke at the meeting. He presented two books written by him “History of forest management in Kazan province and Tatarstan” and “Keepers of the forest”.
“The first book includes materials illustrating the development of forestry in the Republic of Tatarstan, from the 1700s to the present day. It also describes the experience of Tatarstan foresters in the protection, protection, reproduction, and use of forests, - said Ilgiz Zaripov. - The second book is dedicated to people who have contributed to the preservation and enhancement of the forest resources of the republic”.
After that, a discussion and exchange of views on the design and content of these books took place.
Based on the results of the discussion by the Board of the Scientific and Technical Council, it was decided to recommend books for publication.
