Rosleskhoz: from January 1, 2022, a ban is introduced on the export of unprocessed and roughly processed wood of coniferous and valuable deciduous species from Russia

The Federal Forestry Agency informs that from January 1, 2022, it is planned to introduce a ban on the export of unprocessed and roughly processed coniferous and valuable deciduous wood from the territory of the Russian Federation. The ban is introduced following subparagraph “g” of paragraph 2 of the list of instructions of the President of the Russian Federation dated 06.11.2020 Pr-1816 and paragraph 17 of section I of the Action Plan for decriminalization and development of the forestry complex dated 01.10.2020 No. 9282p-P11.

Forest users need to take this information into account when conducting and planning economic activities.
