According to experts from the forestry protection and protection sector of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of July 16 of this year, work was carried out in the republic on the construction of fire-fighting roads with a total length of 66.8 km (60% of the plan) and their reconstruction - 238 km (56 %).

Forest roads, designed to protect forests from fires, are arranged in addition to the existing network of forest roads to ensure the passage of vehicles to water bodies and areas with a fire hazard.
