Work is underway in Tatarstan to build and reconstruct fire-fighting roads
In the Republic of Tatarstan, work is underway to build and reconstruct fire-fighting roads. Recall that such measures are provided for by the state order for the performance of work on the protection, protection, and reproduction of forests on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to experts from the forestry protection and protection sector of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of July 16 of this year, work was carried out in the republic on the construction of fire-fighting roads with a total length of 66.8 km (60% of the plan) and their reconstruction - 238 km (56 %).
For reference. Forest roads, designed to protect forests from fires, are arranged in addition to the existing network of forest roads to ensure the passage of vehicles to water bodies and areas with a fire hazard. Works on the construction and reconstruction of forest roads designed to protect forests from fires include: uprooting stumps in the alignment of the carriageway, clearing and leveling the roadway, setting up gates, crossings (bridges) over ditches, streams, etc.
