Online broadcasting continues from the nest of the solar eagle (burial ground) Aquila heliaca, located in the Almetyevsk municipal district. The project is being implemented by the National Park “Nizhnyaya Kama” with the support of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Biological Resources, PJSC TATNEFT, etc.
The goal of the project is to preserve populations of large birds of prey, to disseminate knowledge about the life of eagles inhabiting flat areas in densely populated and technogenically developed territories by humans.
“The sun eagles have chicks, according to the results of the popular vote, they received the names Aidar and Aigul. The chicks were ringed live on 10 July. On the right paw of Aydar, there is a silver ring with the number AA-0481-8E, and on the left a two-color one - H-481. Aigul received similar decorations. She has a ring with the number AB-0423-2E on her right paw, and B-423 on her right paw,” said Rinur Bekmansurov, the project manager, ornithologist, head of the Nature Museum of the Nizhnyaya Kama National Park.
