The honor to raise the flag of the competition fell to the winners of the III Meeting of school forestry districts of the Republic of Tatarstan - pupils of the school forestry "Forest spring" MBOU "Lesno-Kaleykinsky secondary school" of the Almetyevsky municipal district.
After the opening of the meeting, the main competition "Young foresters" was held. Pupils of school forestries were tested and completed several practical tasks in the areas of "Botany and Dendrology", "Taxation", "Protection and Preservation of Forests", "Reforestation and Afforestation", "Geodesy" and "Fire Fighting". The students demonstrated their knowledge of the forest and its inhabitants, skills of teamwork, orientation in the forest, overcoming obstacles, taxation, and extinguishing of forest fires.
The results will be summed up and the winners of the IV Meeting of school forestries of the Republic of Tatarstan will be awarded tomorrow, July 31.
