Specialists of the forestry industry of the Republic of Tatarstan conduct explanatory work among the population about the rules of fire and sanitary safety in forests, as well as about the peculiarities of the introduced regime of restricting citizens' stay in forests and the entry of vehicles into them. "Our main task in the fire season is to monitor compliance with fire and sanitary safety requirements in forests, so we regularly meet with residents of settlements, horticultural non-profit associations adjacent to the forest. We also distribute information leaflets, brochures on fire-prevention topics," said Ilnur Kashafeev, head-forester of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Prigorodny forestry".
Recall that following the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 671 dated 02.08.2021, the Republic of Tatarstan restricted the stay of citizens in forests and the entry of vehicles into them from August 2 to 21 calendar days. Restrictions are established with forests located on the lands of the forest fund of the republic.
Fire safety in the forest in Tatarstan is provided by 20 types II forest fire stations and 5 types III forest fire stations. Space, aviation, and ground monitoring of the fire hazardous situation are carried out.
