Tatarstan continues to check the quality of the reforestation work
In the Republic of Tatarstan, the quality control of the reforestation work carried out in 2021 and the assessment of materials for the technical acceptance of forest cultures continues. So, over the last month, specialists from the Department of Forest Reproduction and Afforestation of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the Verkhneuslonsky, Kaibitsky, Leninogorsky, and Spassky municipal districts with such checks.
Based on the results of the survey, it was found that reforestation activities on the territory of the Bolgarsky, Kaibitsky, Leninogorsky, and Privolzhsky forestries were carried out following the requirements in a timely agrotechnical period.
Recall that this year in the Republic of Tatarstan, work was carried out on reforestation on an area of 1400.1 hectares, including planting forest cultures - on 1295.5 hectares, afforestation - on 104.6 hectares.
In total, this year in the republic under the regional project "Preservation of forests in the Republic of Tatarstan" of the national project "Ecology" reforestation work will be carried out on an area of 3855 hectares. Also during the year, it is planned to procure at least 11.4 tons of seeds of the main forest-forming species and grow at least 30.9 million pieces of standard planting material.
