It was founded in 1998 by the efforts of the workers of the forestry enterprise and the students of the Maskarinsky secondary school," said Ilgam Rakhmatullin, director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Educational and experimental Sabinsky forestry". "In total, 10 thousand pieces of pine, birch and larch seedlings were planted there on an area of 3 hectares. Now it is already a young forest".
"I was born in the village of Koshkino, Kukmorsky district. I remember that as a child, this area was just a wasteland. I grew up, left the village, but, of course, returned home, to my parents and relatives. At a certain moment, I noticed that now there is a beautiful forest here, pleasing the eyes of everyone," said Anurbik Gubaidullin. "I sincerely wanted a commemorative plaque to be installed, so I turned to the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. After all, this is a good deed - an example for everyone, especially for the current generation. We must plant trees for the future of our native republic."
