The Ministry discussed fire safety in the forests

Today the Ministry held a meeting via videoconference on fire safety in the forests. The meeting was chaired by Ravil Kuzyurov, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by Deputy Ministers Ilgizar Zaripov and Rais Gumerov, Head of the forest protection sector of the Ministry Alexei Mosunov, heads of forestries, and directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.

First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov made a keynote speech. “According to the forecast data, a high class of fire danger in the forests of the Republic of Tatarstan will remain in the nearest future,” Ilgizar Zaripov said. “In general, according to the information system of remote monitoring of the Federal Forestry Agency, 1,031 thermal points have been registered on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan as of today. This is by 405 points more as compared to the same period of last year.”

There were also 14 forest fires on the total area of 160,24 ha in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2021.

The First Deputy Minister recalled that following the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers № 780 of 25.08.2021 in the Republic of Tatarstan was restricted stay in the woods and the entry of vehicles in them from August 25 to 21 calendar days.

The meeting was summarized by Ravil Kuzyurov, the Head of the Forestry Ministry of Tatarstan. He gave several tasks to the heads of subordinate organizations connected with patrolling of lands of forest fund, conduction of fire-prevention measures, propaganda, and preventive work among population and others.
