Cooperation between the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Technical University of Dresden continues
Cooperation between the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Technical University of Dresden (Federal Republic of Germany) is continuing. Thus, last week Alina Nasibullina, a doctoral student of the Forestry Department of the Institute of Forestry and Forest Protection at Dresden Technical University, surveyed aspen stands on the territory of the Nurlatsky forestry to analyze stand growth.
This work was carried out within the framework of the Tatar-German research project "Development of the concept of sustainable forest management in aspen stands and their use in the Republic of Tatarstan "ASTAT". It is expected that its results will develop a set of silvicultural activities for the cultivation and care of aspen stands, as well as proposals for the organization of processing of this species of wood.
