On September 25, 2021, near Kazan, an environmental action "Clean Forests of Tatarstan" will take place. It will take place on the territory of the forest fund in quarter 84 of the Stolbishchensky district forestry of the Prigorodny forestry (site coordinates: 55.572861, 49.079781). The Republican environmental action "Clean Forests of Tatarstan" has been carried out by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2010. The action takes place twice a year - in spring and autumn - in all municipal districts of the republic. Its permanent participants are employees of ministries, departments, institutions, organizations, enterprises, tenants of forest plots, representatives of horticultural associations, cooperatives, environmental associations, students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, volunteers.
This year, the autumn stage of the campaign started on September 13 and will last until November 13. Within its framework, work is being carried out to clean up the territory of the republic's forest fund from solid municipal waste, deadwood, and deadwood, repair and equip sold-out houses, information boards, and resting places in the forest.
For reference. As a result of the spring stage of the "Clean Forests of Tatarstan" campaign, which took place from April 19 to June 19, 2021, more than 1.5 thousand cubic meters of solid municipal waste, deadwood, and fallen trees were collected and removed from the forest fund. In addition, 155 information boards, notice boards, 108 recreation places for citizens staying in the forests were repaired and 24 springs were improved. More than 5.5 thousand residents of the republic joined the action.
