In the competition for the Buinsk Town Cup 25 fishermen were taken part. The Deputy Chief State Environmental Inspector of Tatarstan, the Head of Zeya Buylary Nature Sanctuary I.Gibadullin and the State Environmental Inspector, the 1st category specialist N.Belov participated in the competitions as the observers. Before the competition started, they made the participants aware of the “Rules for the use of water bodies for fishing purposes”.

The Cup was von by an experienced sport fisherman Rustem Galiakberov; he caught 2 kilograms 750 grams of fish. The fishermen winners were awarded the diplomas and memorable gifts of the sanctuary.

The school forestry unit “Nurlatsky Gymnasium named after M.E.Sergeeva” was established only a short time ago – in October 2015. The head of the school forestry unit Fanis Gayazov is a Technology Teacher. The members of the school forestry unit are the 6-8th graders. For practical, experimental and research work they were given a plot with a total area of ​​50 hectares out of forest fund of the Nurlatsky Forestry.

Recently, the workers of the Nurlatsky Forestry together with the subordinated school forestry unit of the gymnasium placed more than 20 nesting boxes on the trees along the road running through the Vishnevo-Polyansky District Forestry.

The bird nesting boxes were made by the schoolchildren at the Arts and Crafts lesson given by Fanis Gayazov.

Ahmadullah Khadievich Gazizullin is a known research forester, academician of the International Higher Education Academy of Sciences, Professor, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Honored Forester of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan.

Ahmadullah Gazizullin was one who initiated the opening in 2000 in Kazan the Faculty of Forestry at the State Academy of Agriculture. In 2002 he was elected as the Head of Forestry and Forest Plantations Chair that was then reorganized into the Department of Forestry and Timber Industry Economics. He was engaged in the great research on the effectiveness of partial cutting in the forests of Tatarstan. In 2003, being one of the foresters of the Sabinsky Forest Establishment, he was awarded the Tatarstan’s State Prize in Science and Technology for the development and introduction of the advanced clear cutting.

In 2010, under the leadership of Academician Gazizullin, at the premises of the educational experimental Sabinsky Forest Establishment, 13 scientific papers, two of which belong to the scientists of St. Petersburg Forest Engineering Academy, have been carried out.

Currently, under his leadership in the Forest Breeding and Seed Center in vitro scientific laboratory was organized, and the work to establish experimental forest plantations on the basis of the planting material cloning of aspen species valuable genotypes is carried out.

In the Forest Breeding and Seed Center, a modern complex to grow ball-rooted planting stock, located in the Sabinsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan, the works to seed the first rotation – 4 million units of Norway spruce seeds – began.

The planting stock will grow in the greenhouses until May. At this particular time its implementation begins: in the forestry the tree-planting works are taken place. The outstanding planting stock is transferred from greenhouses to the fields for growing until September 15.

The school forestry units are preparing to their arrival. The schoolchildren of the High School No.3 of Nurlat city are in pleasant cares: here, a contest for the bird houses making is traditionally held. The birdhouses of the sixth graders Yarullin Rakhim, Siplatov Yaroslav, and Galimova Ilmira are met all the recommendations. The eighth graders Nikita Bogoslovsky and Rifat Karmyshev kept pace with them.

But the most of all birdhouses were made by senior school students whose experience and skills came to their help. The winner became the 10th grader Adel Mingazeev. The head of the school forestry unit Tatiana Chibidina thanked all participants for their active attitude to environment and life. The school where she directs the school forestry unit is an Eco-leader of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The specialists of Spassky Nature Sanctuary together with the staff of the Office for the Protection and Use of Wildlife Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Centre for Innovative Technologies in the Field of Wild Animal Preservation have carried out raid activities on the territory of the Kuybyshev Reservoir, in the Spassky Municipal District of the republic, including the water area of Spassky Nature Sanctuary.

During the raid, 70 illegal abandoned fishing tools (nets) have been found and taken away from the reservoir. In response to the illegal extraction of water and biological resources the administration of the sanctuary has sent the materials to the investigative bodies for further action.

As a result of the preventive measures taken in 2015 there have been no fires in the forests of the Republic of Tatarstan.

This year, to improve efficiency of the forest protection system against fires, provide timely and high-quality preparation of subordinated institutions to the fire season and to control over the compliance by forest users of fire safety measures, the Ministry has approved a preventive measure plan. Currently, in all forestries, in the areas of their activity, the volunteer fire brigades are arranged and trained, the routes are developed, and the schedules for forest areas ground patrol are approved.

Every year, before the wild fire season starts, in Lubyansky Forest Engineering College the managers of wild fire fighting operations are trained. The training includes both theory and practicals. In addition, here the students are taught the rules of population evacuation and first aid to fire injured.
