The Autumn forest cultivation season of 2021 continues in Tatarstan
The autumn forest cultivation season of 2021 continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. Within its framework, the employees of the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - forestry enterprises - completed work to supplement forest crops. In total, such activities were carried out on an area of 2 thousand hectares.
“Also, the inventory of planting material in basic forest nurseries is currently being completed,” said Timur Galiev, head of the forest reproduction and afforestation department of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. “After summarizing the data, it will be known how many saplings and seedlings we have for reforestation in 2022.”
“Along with this, now the workers of the forestry industry are working on preparing the soil for forest crops next year. The completion of the work is scheduled for the end of October,” added Timur Galiev.
