In Tatarstan, trees are planted as part of the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest”

In the Republic of Tatarstan, trees are being planted as part of the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest”. So, the next event was organized in the town of Agryz near the railway station. The participants of the action were employees of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Agryzsky forestry” and representatives of the transport security unit of the enterprise “Sfera-A”. In total, they planted 80 pieces of Scots pine, mountain ash, and small-leaved linden seedlings.

Also, the event was held on the territory of the MADOU “Kindergarten No. 1 ”Rodnichok” in Nurlat. Specialists of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nurlatsky forestry” and kindergarten teachers took part in planting trees.

Recall that the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest” started in Tatarstan on October 4 and will last until October 10 this year. On October 9, a massive tree planting will be organized in all municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is expected that as a result of the action, more than 1.2 million seedlings will be planted in the republic.

For reference. For the first time, the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest” was held in the country in 2019. For two years, its participants have planted more than 82 million trees. The environmental initiative has become rightfully considered one of the largest in Russia.

This year, the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest” started on August 21 in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Its goal is to plant 70 million trees in support of the region's hardest hit by wildfires. The organizers of the action are the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the Federal Forestry Agency, ANO National Priorities, and ANO Sad of Memory.
