In the Republic of Tatarstan, work continues to improve the sanitary condition of forest plantations within the framework of the state assignment for 2021. Thus, according to the specialists of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of October 6 of this year, work was carried out in the republic to harvest illiquid timber on an area of ​​2.3 thousand hectares.

Such works have already been completed by specialists from Aksubaevsky, Alkeyevsky, Almetyevsky, Arsky, Bavlinsky, Bilyarsky, Bolgarsky, Kaleykinsky, Kamsky, Kyzyl-Yulduzsky, Nurlatsky, Sabinsky, Tetyushsky, and Cheremshansky forestries of the republic.

“Harvesting illiquid wood is part of a set of measures aimed at limiting the spread of forest pests and diseases, localizing their foci, as well as eliminating other negative factors,” said Alexey Mosunov, head of the forestry protection and protection sector of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. “In total, this year the republic will carry out work on harvesting illiquid timber on an area of ​​2.8 thousand hectares.”
