Employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Nurlatsky forestry enterprise" completed several works within the autumn forest cultivation season of 2021. "According to the plan, specialists prepared soil plots for next year's crops on an area of 67 hectares, completed forest plantations on 228 hectares, and procured 795 kilograms of seeds of the main forest-forming species," said Olga Zakharova, an engineer for reforestation of the State Institution of RT "Nurlatsky forestry".
"Also, an inventory of planting material was carried out in the basic forest nurseries. Its results showed that more than 650 thousand seedlings and seedlings of spruce, pine, birch, oak, and linden were grown this year. This amount will be enough to carry out reforestation and afforestation next year," added Olga Zakharova. "We are currently preparing to plant trees as part of the All-Russian campaign "Save the Forest".
