The Cheremshansky forestry enterprise fulfilled the plan for harvesting seeds of the main forest-forming species
Specialists of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Cheremshansky forestry" have fulfilled the plan for the procurement of seeds of the main forest-forming species. A total of 1330 kg of seeds were harvested. Of these, pine - 25 kg, spruce - 5 kg, larch - 5 kg, birch - 220 kg, ash - 75 kg and oak - 1000 kg.
"In total, according to the plan, it was necessary to procure 275 kilograms of seeds of forest plants," said the director of the forestry enterprise Nikolai Kvakov. "We were able to overfulfill the plan due to the high productivity of oak and birch. Currently, part of the acorns is being examined at the Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. The rest of the seeds have already been tested, and certificates have been issued."
