On October 8, 2021, joint instructor-methodological classes (training) of the Forest Fire Station of the State Budgetary Institution "Bugulminsky forestry" with the forces of 64 firefighting and rescue units of the 11th firefighting and rescue detachment of the federal fire service of the State Firefighting Service services of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The training involved 15 people and 3 units of special equipment (2 tank trucks and 1 Small Forest Patrol Complex (MLPK) based on UAZ-390945).
The purpose of the exercise is to assess the readiness of forces and means intended to eliminate wildfires, to check the feasibility of plans for the prevention and elimination of emergencies caused by wildfires. Today the situation with wildfires in the country is close to critical.
As employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said: "The worst thing in a fire is panic". This applies to the forest fire service to the same extent. The speed of extinguishing and ensuring the safety of nearby settlements depends on timely information and the correct organization of work. Confident action when a natural fire is detected can help prevent the spread of fire.
