Pupils of the school forestry "Topolek" took an active part in sowing the pedunculate oak

Pupils of the school forestry "Topolek" of secondary school No. 2 in Menzelinsk visited the basic forest nursery located in quarter 155 of the Yurtovsky district forestry of the Menzelinsky forestry. The excursion for the children was conducted by Ilnar Akhmetgaliev, the head-forester of the State Institution "Menzelinsky forestry".

The children learned about the peculiarities of collecting seeds of the main forest-forming species, technologies for storing them, sowing, caring for seedlings, etc. They also took an active part in sowing English oak.
