Pupils of the school forestry “Heirs of Nature” held an ecological action “Batteries, give up!”

An ecological action “Batteries, give up!” It was organized by the pupils of the school forestry “Heirs of Nature”.

In total, 39 kg of batteries were collected by the students.

“Used batteries are harmful to the environment. According to statistics, one finger battery thrown into the trash can contaminates about 20 square meters of land with heavy metals. For this reason, they need to be disposed of by specialized organizations. Carrying out such actions is an excellent opportunity to make a small contribution to the preservation of the environment,” said Adel Salakhov, a participant of the Heirs of Nature school forestry.
